2026 Capitol Cup
August 1-2, 2026 | Spartan Greens Complex (East Lansing)
The Capitol Cup is our annual signature event, which brings together elite players at Michigan State University’s Spartan Greens complex in East Lansing for two days of high-quality, top-level soccer. Featuring both men’s and women’s 16+ divisions, teams compete for a $2,000 first place prize and $500 second prize place.
Rules & Regulations
- Players aged 16+ welcome
- Men's and Women's 11x11 divisions
- $650 Team entrance fee
- $2,000 first place + $500 second place team prizes
- Certified refs + quality facilities
- Maximum 18 player roster

Tournament Impact
A portion of the proceeds from this tournament will go to the Immigrant & Refugee Resource Collaborative (IRCC), a Lansing-based organization that unites 50+ partners across the nonprofit, business, education, faith and public sectors to ensure New Americans can access the services and opportunities they need. As a diverse coalition of soccer enthusiasts, we know how beneficial it is to build community and connection, and IRRC dedicates their work to doing just that.
